Welcome to FridgeChef. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the FridgeChef mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By downloading, installing, or using FridgeChef, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Service.
FridgeChef is an AI-powered cooking application that helps you discover recipes based on ingredients. The Service allows you to scan ingredients using your device's camera, receive personalized recipe recommendations powered by Google Gemini AI, save favorite recipes, and manage your cooking experience.
FridgeChef offers the following subscription plans:
Pricing for each plan is displayed in the app and confirmed by Apple before purchase. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice.
Subscription Renewal: FridgeChef offers auto-renewable subscriptions through the Apple App Store. When you purchase a subscription, your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel.
Apple Account Billing: Your Apple Account will be charged upon confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions by going to your App Store account settings after purchase.
Billing Details: Subscription payments are processed through RevenueCat and the Apple App Store. RevenueCat facilitates billing, and Apple processes all payment transactions. Your iTunes account will be charged at the end of each subscription period.

Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to FridgeChef Pro features through the end of your paid subscription period.
Apple App Store Billing: All subscription management, including cancellation and refunds, is governed by Apple's App Store Policies. FridgeChef does not process cancellations directly. Any refund requests must be made through Apple at support.apple.com.
FridgeChef may offer free trials or promotional subscriptions. Free trial periods do not renew. When a free trial ends, your subscription will convert to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial period ends. You can cancel free trials through the same process as paid subscriptions.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and use FridgeChef on your personal mobile device for your own personal use. You may not:

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FRIDGECHEF AND ITS OWNERS, DEVELOPERS, AND PARTNERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. THIS INCLUDES DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH LOSSES.
Maximum Liability: Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for your subscription in the past 12 months, or $100, whichever is greater.
FridgeChef provides recipe recommendations generated by Google Gemini AI. While we strive for accuracy, recipe suggestions are provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, safety, or nutritional value of any recipe. Always verify recipes and follow food safety guidelines. If you have allergies, dietary restrictions, or health concerns, consult appropriate resources before preparing any recipe.
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at any time, without notice or liability, for:

FridgeChef and all its content, features, and functionality (including design, graphics, and code) are owned by FridgeChef, its partners, or respective content providers. Recipes generated by Google Gemini are subject to Google's terms and our license to use them.
FridgeChef integrates with third-party services:
These third parties are subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for their services, content, or practices.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FridgeChef and its owners, developers, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your use of the Service, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which FridgeChef operates, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted to this page, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically for updates.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect to the maximum extent permitted by law.
